Breeding Agreement and Breeder’s Checklist
Booking and Collection Fees
Booking Fees are due upon signing of the Stallion Contract, and balances are due before shipment of semen. A Collection Fee on all stallions is required and is not included in the Stud Fee. Collection Fees are kept to a minimum and are determined by collection site. Please contact us for details.

For collection schedules, please contact Barb Ellison at 650-529-9875 (office) or 650-303-6747 (cell) Monday-Saturday, 8am-5pm PST. Or, email Barb at barb@wildturkeyfarm.com. Calls before or after business hours will go to voicemail. Please contact us to obtain the necessary instructions and forms for ordering frozen semen.
Ordering Fresh Semen
Stallions are collected Monday through Friday. Please contact Wild Turkey Farm when your mare's heat cycles begin. We require stallion transport time to the collection site. Therefore, you must notify us again a minimum of 48 hours in advance of needing semen.
Shipment of Cooled Semen
1) A completed, signed contract along with all monies due must be received by Wild Turkey Farm prior to shipping. Please make checks payable to Wild Turkey Farm. 2) Please contact us to obtain the necessary instructions and forms for ordering cooled semen.
Once Your Mare is in Foal
Return a completed Veterinary Certificate of Insemination (download PDF below). Please note that Registration documents will not be sent out unless a completed Veterinary Certificate of Insemination is received by Wild Turkey Farm.
